Introducing the UHS Institutional Grant Program
A Path to Affordable Education
At Ultimate Health School (UHS), we believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare education. That’s why we’ve created the UHS Institutional Grant Program—a financial aid initiative designed to help students achieve their career goals in healthcare. This program can help make it possible for students pursuing a Practical Nursing program.
Award Levels and Benefits
Eligible students may qualify for one of three grant levels, with awards applied across the three terms of the Practical Nursing program:
Grant Level | Award Per Term | Total Award |
---|---|---|
Gold | $1,000 | $3,000 |
Silver | $750 | $2,250 |
Bronze | $500 | $1,500 |
Eligibility Criteria
The program is open to students based on their income and dependency status, using 2023 or 2024 financial information. Students on public assistance such as TANF, SNAP, SSI, or SDI automatically qualify for the Gold Award, regardless of income or household size.
Income-Based Eligibility
Eligibility depends on household size and Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Refer to the following charts for specific income thresholds:
Independent Students
Household Size | Gold | Silver | Bronze |
---|---|---|---|
1 | $31,200 | $37,440 | $44,928 |
2 | $39,200 | $47,040 | $56,448 |
3 | $57,200 | $68,640 | $82,368 |
Dependency Status
Eligibility is determined by FAFSA dependency status guidelines:
- Independent Students: Must meet specific criteria such as age, marital status, military service, or having dependents.
- Dependent Students: Must provide parent(s)’ financial information.
