Mental Health Nursing
Prerequisites: NUR 100, NAS 101, NAS 102, NUR 101, NUR 201
80 HOURS
This course provides nursing students with an introduction to the care of the client with an alteration in mental health in various care settings. Topics covered include therapeutic communication and coping skills, thought, mood, personality, and cognitive and addictive disorders.
