Practical Nursing Admissions Requirements
Your Path to Enrollment
If you’re not ready to apply or would like to speak with someone, our representatives will guide you through every step of the admissions process so you can feel confident and secure in your decision to enroll.
- Successfully pass the Practical Nursing Prerequisite (PN PRQ) Course
- Submit proof of high school education or equivalent
- Complete a background check
- Schedule an interview with the Program Director
- Undergo a physical exam, including immunizations and TB testing
- Complete all financing arrangements
- Start class!

Complete Prerequisite Courses
Complete UHS prerequisite courses within 12 months of your program start date.
Background Check
Undergo a background check during the prerequisite course.
Program Director Interview
Interview with the Program Director as part of the admissions process.
Physical Exam
Complete a physical exam with required immunizations and health documentation.
Finalize Financing
Complete all required financing arrangements before starting the program.
Begin Classes
