Curriculum
Practical Nursing Curriculum
Our Practical Nursing program will prepare you for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam so that you are free to pursue entry-level employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In as little as 12 months, you will learn to perform several clinical tasks in a physician’s office, hospital, or other medical settings.
You will receive advanced training across multiple nursing competencies, including patient monitoring, administering drugs, and other special duties in the field, such as patient support and education.
Upon graduation, you will complete 1,344 instructional hours (944 hours of didactic instruction and 400 hours of labs/clinical). Class topics include nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, pediatrics, maternal and newborn care, medical-surgical, and professional development.
