Our Commitment to Military Students
Ultimate Health School is approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to accept VA Education Benefits for eligible veterans, active-duty personnel, and dependents.
Our Admissions and Financial Aid teams are here to guide you every step of the way, from confirming eligibility to submitting documentation, so you can confidently use your benefits toward your nursing education.

UHS Veteran Scholarship Program
To honor your service, Ultimate Health School proudly offers a Veteran Scholarship that provides a discounted tuition rate for the Practical Nursing Prerequisite course.
- Veterans and qualifying dependents receive a special tuition discount for the PRQ course.
- A $100 non-refundable application fee applies to all applicants.
- Applicants must score 17 or higher on the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam to qualify for full admission.
- Applicants scoring 15–16 may enter on contingency status and must successfully pass their first core program course to remain in the program.
- Students who fail or withdraw from the PRQ must retake the course at full tuition cost.
- This scholarship reflects our commitment to supporting veterans as they transition into healthcare careers.
Understanding Your VA Education Benefits
Here is a quick overview of the most common VA Education Benefits programs accepted at UHS:
Veteran Readiness and Employment
Provides education and training for veterans with service-connected disabilities to help them prepare for, find, and maintain suitable employment.
Post-9/11 GI Bill®
Covers tuition, fees, housing, and book stipends for veterans who served on active duty after September 10, 2001. Benefit percentages are based on length of service.
Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance
Provides education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of veterans who are permanently disabled or who died in the line of duty.
